Glenn Kenny

Glenn Kenny (born August 8, 1959) is an American film critic and journalist, and the chief film critic for MSN.
Kenny served as a critic and editor at the film magazine ''Premiere'' from 1996 until it ceased publication in 2007. Along with his duties at MSN, Kenny contributes to various other publications and websites.
==Biography==

Kenny attended William Paterson University,〔(The only looming boy in New York City: An Interview with Glenn Kenny )〕 where he majored in English literature. He joined the staff of ''Premiere'' in June 1996〔 after having worked as a freelance film and music critic for several publications, including ''The Village Voice''. One of Kenny's first assignments for the magazine was editing David Foster Wallace's "David Lynch Keeps His Head," later included in Wallace's essay collection ''A Supposedly Fun Thing I'll Never Do Again''.
Kenny writes two weekly columns for the film website The Auteurs, "Tuesday Morning Foreign Region DVD Report" and "Topics/Questions/Exercises of the Week".
Kenny had a role in Steven Soderbergh's ''The Girlfriend Experience'' (2009). He lives in Brooklyn with his wife.
